Barack Obama has been urged to make a White House comeback by his supporters who have missed him terribly.
Following his recent trip to the Asia-Pacific Region, the ex-POTUS tweeted about his meeting with hundreds of talented and optimistic Obama Foundation leaders. The dad of two shared a photo of himself with a group of young leaders chatting and smiling.
Immediately after, the ex-president supporters expressed how much they want to see him in the Oval Office once again.
“I miss having a president that wasn’t impeached,” Twitter user @AngelaBelcamino said.
“I love you, Obama,” Twitter user @ReconnectRyxn said.
“We miss you, dad. Please come home,” Twitter user @cindycrum said.
Twitter user @carnitas4life uploaded a photo of a blue hat with the words “Make Obama President Again” on it.
“Miss you, Mr. President,” Twitter user @JasonNazzaro said.
“Barack Obama remains the most honorable President in US history,” Twitter user @formambuh said.
As of late, the ex-POTUS has not filed for candidacy in next year’s elections. But he has expressed his support for the Democrats.
Last month, he spoke to party donors one day after the most recent Democratic debate and said that everyone should focus on defeating President Donald Trump. The POTUS is running for president once again.
“Everybody needs to chill out about the candidates, but gin up about the prospect of rallying behind. There will be differences, but the ultimate goal is to defeat the president and a party that has, I think, taken a sharp turn away from a lot of the core traditions and values and institutional commitments that built this country,” he said.
Meanwhile, the ex-president has not also endorsed a presidential candidate include his former Vice President Joe Biden. This has led his supporters to think that he could be endorsing his wife, Michelle Obama.
However, the ex-FLOTUS previously said that she won’t be running for president because she’s not really interested in politics.
