The front office of Juventus is looking to further deepen their roster as they’re linked to another set of transfer rumors. The latest speculation involves Barcelona’s midfielder Arthur Melo reportedly mixed in a deal for Miralem Pjanic and Mattia de Sciglio.

Throughout Arthur’s career, he has already proven he can keep up with the world’s best players. The Brazilian professional football player possesses the capabilities to make his presence felt every time he steps foot on the pitch. The 23-year-old has been Barcelona since 2018 and has shown significant contributions to the team.

During Arthur’s Barcelona, he has been expected to be one of the better players to control the ball. Constant praise towards him is that he has the potential to be a great midfielder as he continues to work on his game and gain more experience.

The manner he composes himself on the field already is considered elite with his excellent dribbling and great vision whenever he passes the ball.

Per Everything Barca, Arthur might be headed to Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus soon to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo. This exchange features a swap for the services of Pjanic and de Sciglio, who are both more experienced players.

Negotiations for this deal have been ongoing for some time now but have not pushed through due to hesitation on Arthur’s end. This time, Tuttosport claims that they may be closer to securing the transaction.

Throughout Arthur’s stint with Barcelona, he has played in 67 games and was even responsible for scoring four separate times. In addition to this, he has also assisted six goals in his career with Barca.

Having Arthur play for the Italy-based-squad may prove to be a big transition for the former Copa America winner. Suiting up for Sarri’s club with the likes of Ronaldo may provide additional experience in his growth as a player.

With this, it will be interesting to see how Barcelona and Juventus will move forward regarding their rosters. The potential of Arthur is high and he’s shown how much he has developed in his career with Barcelona. It remains to be seen if Sarri’s Juventus is able to maximize the strengths of the midfielder if ever the transfer pulls through.
