France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, basking in the glow of her “new” motherhood, is often seen at political rallies in France, extending support to her husband in the 2012 presidential election.
In fact, the former supermodel has been a part of Nicolas Sarkozy’s campaign trail since he formally declared his candidacy for a second term as French president in February.
Bruni, who gave birth to her first child (a daughter named Giulia) with Sarkozy in October last year, was seen with the president during his first major re-election campaign rally in Marseille, southern France, on Feb. 19, 2012.
Most recently, on Saturday, she accompanied Sarkozy during a hospital visit as part of his campaign, in Frejus, southern France.
Have a look.
