A picture of the Caped Crusader from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has surfaced online. The image shows the character wearing a costume that was briefly seen in the trailer shown at the San Diego Comic-Con event.

Photographer Clay Enos shared the photo of Ben Affleck’s character in the movie on his Instagram account. The photo shows the actor wearing his superhero costume and goggles. Spencer Perry of ComingSoon called it a “soldier disguise” and pointed out it is still not known why the character wears such a suit in the movie.

Apart from the regular Batsuit, Affleck also wears an armored suit in the movie. The trailers show both costumes and some of the fans got to take a closer look at the get-ups of the movie at the San Diego Comic-Con event.

Joshua Nealey of Hypable called the suit in the new photo “desert gear” as the character was seen fighting a few soldiers wearing a Superman patch in what appears to be a desert. Nealey noted the Batsuit evolved in each movie by Chris Nolan, but “Batman v Superman” may feature different costumes for the superhero depending on what the situation demands.

Nealey said the fans likely will get to see the Caped Crusader use all his unique comic-book gadgets, grounding "the film in a specific way.” He also adds the movie looks “promising.”

An analysis of the trailer by Hypable said Bruce Wayne was watching from the ground when the major battles in the “Man of Steel” movie took place. According to the report, people will be divided on their opinion of Superman (Henry Cavill) in the upcoming movie, and Bruce Wayne, whose buildings may have been destroyed in the battle, may want the god-like superhero to leave Earth.

The report also speculates the main villain of the movie, Lex Luthor [Jesse Eisenberg], may lose his hair because of the kryptonite that he has found. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released March 25 in the U.S.
