In the best news ‘90s kids will hear all day, a Blockbuster board game was recently launched to help you relive your memories of frantically searching the store for a film on a Friday night.

Thanks to gaming company Big Potato Games, nostalgia lovers can now step back in time and revisit the much-loved video retailer in a new and exciting way. However, no laminated ID card is necessary for you to check this out. The gameplay is said to be a mixture of a "Movie Buzzer Battle" and "Triple Charades Jeopardy," per the product's description.

The overall objective is to be a member of the first team that collects one movie from all eight genres, including action, horror, and comedy. A particularly wonderful aspect of the game that calls itself "a movie game for anyone who has seen a movie" is that the board itself is intended to resemble the parking lot of the actual store.

Additionally, the unique plastic packaging of the game, which is shaped like a VHS tape, was one of the first design elements the company decided on after they came up with the initial concept.

When discussing the game during its development phase, Massimo Zeppetelli, head of marketing for the British company behind the creation, said that they initially brought the idea to Blockbuster. “We realized if we felt such heartfelt nostalgia for picking up rentals, then others would feel the same,” Zeppetelli added.

Following the creation period, which lasted one year, the company purchased the license for Blockbuster Off Dish, according to Cosmopolitan, and soon thereafter the official game was born.

For anyone interested in purchasing the game to play it themselves, you can find it at Target for $19.99, or, for those who are particularly dedicated, it can also be found at the last existing Blockbuster, which is located in Bend, Oregon.
