‘Beauty And The Beast’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Heart Of The Matter’?
All work and no play is bad for an engagement. Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) will find their relationship in trouble in “Beauty and the Beast” Season 3, episode 4. They decided not to rush their wedding in episode 3, but it seems they’ll still have more to fight over. Don’t worry, they aren’t headed for a breakup right away. According to the synopsis, the two will see a therapist to try and work out their issues.
The decision might be caused by Cat’s borderline-obsessive need to find whoever is experimenting on innocent people and giving them powers. They’ll go to a couples counselor (Saul Rubinek) after the detective “dives into her work and suspects a wealthy transplant recipient of being involved with the mysterious experiments on innocent people in the city,” the synopsis says.
In the promo, it looks like Vincent doesn’t trust Cat’s instinct on this lead. She suggests they split up for this case while Vincent suggests marriage counseling. However, they’re going to run into a problem when they realize that they can’t tell their therapist the truth about their lives. Between Vincent being a beast and their fight against evil experiments that give people superpowers, there isn’t much they can actually talk about.

JT (Austin Basis) is mysteriously missing from both the promo video and the synopsis. At the end of episode 3, it seemed like JT may have discovered that the serum allows him to heal. Basis previously told International Business Times that JT is not okay with the idea of suddenly having powers.
“The unknown freaks him out,” Basis explained. “He’s a scientist and he wants to know the specific details of what’s in it, what the side effects are and how it’s going to affect his life and the life he’s kind of established for himself, especially now that that life includes Tess.”
“Beauty and the Beast” Season 3, episode 4, titled “Heart of the Matter,” airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW. Do you think Cat and Vincent can make it through marriage counseling while keeping all of their secrets? Sound off in the comments section below!
