Ben Affleck, Girlfriend Lindsay Shookus Return To L.A. Following Maine Vacation

Ben Affleck and girlfriend Lindsay Shookus are inseparable. After going on a Maine getaway last weekend, the lovers have now returned to Los Angeles to continue enjoying each other’s company.

A source close to the Hollywood actor revealed that his relationship with Shookus is going strong. In addition, Affleck is said to be looking forward to enjoying his break from work and spending more time with his girlfriend. “He just wrapped ‘Justice League’ and he’s excited to enjoy his summer. He’ll be spending time with Lindsay, out and about,” the source said.

Affleck and Shookus have already planned what they are going to do this summer. And there’s no doubt that he’ll be allotting more time to be with his girlfriend as he enjoys getting to know her better, according to Us Weekly’s source.

Over the weekend, the 44-year-old actor and the 37-year-old television producer headed to the northeast. They were even spotted purchasing bottles of wine at The Umbrella Factor supermarket in Naples, Maine. “They bought two bottles of Whispering Angel rosé and a Skinnygirl margarita,” the liquor section employee said. “Ben looked relaxed and happy, very normal. He just seemed like everyone else who came into the store.”

The store employee seems to have been ecstatic over her encounter with Affleck as she reportedly shared a photo she took with him and a screenshot of security footage featuring the actor on her social media page. However, both posts have since been deleted, according to Daily Mail.

Affleck’s weekend vacation with Shookus comes months after he revealed via Facebook that he has completed treatment for his alcohol addiction. “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Affleck’s return to Los Angeles with Shookus comes on the same day that his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his mother, Christopher Anne, were spotted by People enjoying a friendly stroll in the City of Angels. The two were even walking arm-in-arm as they exchanged smiles and laughs along the way.

Despite divorcing Garner, Affleck has maintained a friendly relationship with his ex for the sake of their kids, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. The two are happily co-parenting their children as part of their promise to put their family first.
