Ben Affleck, Lindsay Shookus Relationship Heats Up, Spotted Enjoying Date Night

Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus’ relationship seems to be heating up now that the couple is no longer hiding their relationship from the public eye.

On Monday, the “Justice League” star and his girlfriend were spotted grabbing dinner at Beech Street Café in Los Angeles. Affleck, 44, and Shookus, 37, seemed to be enjoying each other’s company very much as they were seen with huge smiles on their faces. “They were giggling during dinner and looked like they had the best time,” a source told People. “Ben told stories and Lindsay threw her head back laughing several times. She acted like she thinks he is the funniest ever.”

The onlooker added that the couple seemed to be having a blast all throughout the dinner and even left the restaurant beaming. “Leaving, they were still giggling. Ben carried food and they both had sodas,” the witness added.

Affleck and Shookus’ relationship was confirmed last Friday, and since then they have been inseparable. According to TMZ, the couple spent the weekend together. On Monday morning, they were also spotted together getting drinks from Starbucks in Brentwood.

Amid the confirmation of Affleck and Shookus’ relationship, it has been revealed that she was one of the women linked to the “Batman” star in the past. Based on their dating history, the couple had already been flirting with each other as early as 2013, when they were still married to their former respective spouses.

Affleck has hosted “Saturday Night Live,” a show which is produced by Shookus, five times. A month after his last appearance in “SNL,” they were reportedly seen flirting at “The Heat” premiere afterparty in New York. One onlooker noticed that Affleck seemed to be very interested in Shookus.

Another source claimed that Affleck would visit Shookus on set whenever he had the opportunity. “Whenever [Affleck] was on Fallon, he would go visit [Shookus] at ‘SNL,’” a source knowledgeable about the affair said, according to Entertainment Tonight. “They were both married at the time, but there was definitely a flirtation.”

Meanwhile, Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is reportedly not happy about his affair with Shookus. “It would have been easier for Jen if Ben would have just dated someone that Jen wasn’t familiar with,” a source told People.

Unlike her ex, the “Miracles from Heaven” star is not yet ready to start dating as she has decided to focus on their children. Garner and Affleck have reportedly agreed not to introduce their kids to people they date until the relationship is serious.
