Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Enjoy A Morning Stroll Together In Los Angeles
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently proved that exes could be friends especially for the sake of their children.
On Friday, the ex-couple took a morning stroll together in Los Angeles. They were photographed standing a few feet away from each other. Affleck had a black sweatshirt and red pants on, while Garner wore jeans and a red sweatshirt, according to People.
Despite their split in 2015 and divorce filing in April, Affleck and Garner have maintained a close relationship with each other. They still co-parent their three kids, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. Prior to their divorce, a source told People that Affleck didn’t want his marriage to Garner to end.
“They’re still figuring this out. Ben still doesn’t want the divorce and he might actually get his way,” the source said. Unfortunately, the “Justice League” actor didn’t get his way, but he seems happy to be dating Lindsay Shookus.
Garner, on the other hand, has not been dating anyone ever since she split from Affleck. The actress told Entertainment Tonight last month that she’s not interested to be with anyone at the moment. “I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I’m just like, ‘No, thank you,’” she said.
However, Garner also admitted that she wouldn’t have chosen single life for herself or her children had things been different. “I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through,” she said.
And when it’s finally time to date a man, Garner said that she will make sure to exercise due process. “We can’t assume that every man has done something awful or that every man is guilty; due process is important and has to take place,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Garner and Affleck also spent Thanksgiving together with their three kids. While the “13 Going On 30” star was preparing their food, Affleck took his children to Broadway, and they watched “Hamilton” with his mom, Chris Boldt.
