Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Had ‘Great Time’ Spending Thanksgiving Together: Report
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner spent Thanksgiving together after announcing their divorce in June. The two have been spending family time with their three children after separating and have also been spotted on regular outings.
The two, along with their three children, were accompanied by Affleck’s side of the family. Garner and Affleck seemed to have enjoyed Thanksgiving with one another.
"They spent it as a family unit -- all for the kids," a source told People magazine Monday. "They had a great time," the insider added.
Another source told People that Affleck was “happy all weekend.” “He spent a lot of time at the family house," the source said.
On Sunday, Garner took a stroll in Los Angeles with her daughter Seraphina and Affleck’s mother Christine Anne Boldt. Garner’s informal outing with her mother-in-law came less than two weeks after she was seen with Affleck spending family time with their children in West Hollywood, California. In October, it was reported that Boldt was helping Affleck cope with his separation from Garner.
"Ben's mum Christine is in full control of everything right now as he picks up the pieces from his broken marriage," a source reportedly said at the time. "Chris' boys, Casey and Ben, have always been the apple of her eye, ever since her husband left her. Ben's always been close to his mum, but he seems to have taken it to a whole new level since the split," the insider added.
