Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have reached a divorce settlement three years after their filing.

According to E! News, the ex-couple still couldn’t file their motion in court because Affleck needs to complete his stint in rehab. The “Batman” star entered a treatment center last week to combat his alcohol addiction. Garner was also the one that took him to rehab.

Affleck has been in and out of rehab on inpatient status for the past 17 years. This time, he is expected to stay in the facility for 30 days. After which, he and Garner may proceed with their filing.

Two weeks ago, reports swirled that the ex-couple’s divorce was under threat of being dismissed due to lack of paperwork.

In related news, Affleck’s relationship with “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus has reportedly ended. Days after their split was announced, Affleck was spotted hanging out with model Shauna Sexton.

“Ben had been content in his relationship with Lindsay, but the travel became a lot to deal with. They talked about Lindsay moving to LA but it wasn’t going to happen. They tried hard to make it work but their families on both coasts it was tough to have a consistent relationship. This put a strain on Ben and he started drinking again,” a source said.

A second source said that Affleck has been doing well for the last few months, and he was committed to his sobriety. However, he had a slip-up and began drinking again.

“He wrapped his movie and had some downtime. This week, he was heavily drinking alone at home and with the Playboy model,” the source said.

Affleck and Garner first announced their decision to go their separate ways in 2015. That time, they said that their split was a result of their irreconcilable differences. But multiple sources speculated that it might have to do with Affleck’s addiction.
