Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are taking their time while exploring their blossoming romance, but the former couple known as Bennifer to fans are hesitant about jumping into a committed relationship following the singer’s split from Alex Rodriguez.

Those close to the stars told Us Weekly Affleck and Lopez are worried that moving too fast could ruin their relationship.

“It’s very clear they’ve fallen for each other again in a very intense way, but they don’t want to jinx anything by attaching labels or putting themselves under too much pressure,” one insider said.

“When the time is right and assuming things continue to evolve romantically between them, likely a month or two, they’ll probably go Instagram official or step out hand in hand at a restaurant somewhere.”

Rumors of the rekindled romance between Affleck and Lopez began earlier this month when the two were spotted together in Montana. However, the romantic getaway doesn’t mean they are ready to settle down.

“Right now they’re going with the flow and making plans to meet up as often as possible, but there’s still some discussing to do before they officially go public,” a source said.

“It was Ben’s idea to go to Montana, a place he absolutely loves, and they had a wonderful time there just snuggling up and being together without any pressure.”

While fans appear happy about the Bennifer reunion, the Boston Red Sox appeared hopeful that the newly rekindled romance will result in Lopez’s return to Fenway Park.

The team shared a TikTok video with the caption “Miss you, J-Lo” featuring Lopez at a 2019 Red Sox game. “To the girl on the Monster for Sunday Night Baseball in 2019. Come back soon. We miss you,” the text in the video read.

In April, Lopez and Rodriguez released a joint statement announcing their split following reports the couple hit a rough patch in their relationship.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the exes said in a statement at the time.

“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
