Ben Affleck Planning To Marry Lindsay Shookus Months After Jennifer Garner Divorce?

Ben Affleck doesn’t have any plans to marry his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, yet contrary to rumors.

Life & Style Weekly claimed that Affleck and Shookus are already talking about marriage even though they’ve only been dating for six months. An unnamed source allegedly told the publication that Affleck is very serious about his relationship with Shookus. As a result, he wants to marry his girlfriend even though his divorce from Jennifer Garner hasn’t been finalized.

The publication also claimed that the “Saturday Night Live” producer has been spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring, and it’s possible this was a gift from Affleck.

“He’s fallen hard. It’s no surprise that they’re now taking their relationship to the next level. They both want to spend the rest of their lives together,” the unnamed source said.

But another source allegedly said that Affleck and Shookus can’t focus on settling down just yet because the “Batman” actor still has to settle a lot of things with his ex-wife, Garner. “They’ve spent months behind closed doors working out how to divide assets, finances and custody of their children,” the source said.

However, none of these claims have been confirmed by Affleck, Shookus or Garner. As such, they need to be taken with a grain of salt.

In July, People reported that Affleck and Shookus already had an affair while he was still with Garner and she was still with her ex-husband, Kevin Miller. “Affleck and Shookus full on had an affair. They would fly back and forth, but they would mostly visit her in New York. They didn’t hide… They would use the Mandarin Oriental hotel. They were regulars,” a source said.

Another source said that Garner and Miller found out about their partner’s affair around the same time.

But even Affleck and Shookus’ rendezvous from almost five years ago cannot be used as an indication that they will tie the knot soon. The actor is still recovering from his alcohol addiction and is focused on his health and three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5, among others.
