Ben Affleck Didn’t Accompany Lindsay Shookus To Golden Globes After Party
Ben Affleck did not accompany his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, to the 2018 Golden Globes after party.
According to People, the “Saturday Night Live” producer went to The h.wood group’s Poppy in West Hollywood by herself. While there, she hung out with some of her friends in the industry.
Prior to the Golden Globes, Affleck made sure to accompany his girlfriend to a Christian Louboutin store in Los Angeles. Shookus chose between two pairs of shoes and used one at the awards show.
Affleck skipped the Golden Globes after party because it coincided with his daughter Seraphina’s 9th birthday. The “Batman” actor attended the small celebration at Jennifer Garner’s home in L.A. last weekend.
Garner and Affleck regularly spend time with their kids especially during their birthdays and the holidays. But this does not mean that the actor doesn’t spend enough time with Shookus.
After Christmas, Affleck and Shookus were spotted dining at Nobu in Malibu. At one point, the actor even kissed his girlfriend on the head. Affleck also hugged Shookus to keep her warm during a cold day.
Affleck and Shookus went public with their romance in July – just three months after Garner moved forward with their divorce. According to People, the couple moved in together around the same time.
“They are spending time together in L.A. Lindsay is staying at Ben’s new house. They had dinner at Giorgio Baldi last night. They arrived in a limo. They looked happy. They had a quick dinner and then returned to Ben’s house,” a source said at that time.
As of late, Garner and Shookus may have not yet met each other. The “SNL” producer has not also met Garner and Affleck’s three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5.
But Garner is aware that her ex-husband is already dating another woman. The “13 Going On 30” star, on the other hand, is not interested to date another man. “People want to set me up and I’m just like, ‘No, thank you!’” she told Entertainment Tonight.
