Jennifer Garner Reunites With Ben Affleck To Celebrate Seraphina’s Birthday
Jennifer Garner recently reunited with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, for their daughter Seraphina’s 9th birthday.
A source told People that the family celebrated Seraphina’s special day at Garner’s home in Los Angeles. “It was a small celebration. Ben was there too. Seraphina had friends over for cake. She got a lot of gifts,” the source said.
Despite Garner and Affleck’s split, the ex-couple has been present in all of their family’s events. For instance, Affleck was also with his family on Thanksgiving Day. He also bonded with them on Christmas Day, as well as the New Year.
However, Garner and Affleck weren’t around when their eldest children, Violet, celebrated her 12th birthday last month. According to Page Six, Violet was joined by her friends at the Willy Wonka-esque restaurant Barton G. in L.A., and she was accompanied by a nanny.
Violet ordered lobster pop tarts for their meal, and cotton candy for dessert.
By the looks of it, it was Violet’s decision to celebrate her birthday with her friends. After all, she’s almost a teenager and no longer even believes in Santa Claus.
Meanwhile, Affleck and Garner continue to prioritize their kids and their family even after they’ve gone their separate ways. In 2015, the couple announced their separation, but it was only in April 2017 that they moved forward with it.
Prior to the official filing of their divorce, a source told People in 2016, “There’s not rush to file for divorce. They are enjoying their life where they are right now. Nothing has changed in their relationship. They’re still all about putting their kids first.”
Since their split, Affleck has dated “Saturday Night Live” producer, Lindsay Shookus. However, Shookus has not yet met Affleck’s kids in person. Garner, on the other hand, has not started seeing anyone else. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I am just like, ‘No thank you!’ she said.
