Ben Affleck is a doting father to all of his three children, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel 7.

This weekend, the “Batman v Superman” star was photographed running errands with his eldest and youngest child in Los Angeles.

In one of the trio’s photos, Affleck is holding the hands of Violet and Samuel while they are walking towards his car. In the second photo, Affleck gives his teenage daughter a tight hug and a kiss on her forehead.

Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s second child, Seraphina, did not join her siblings and dad during their recent outing. The “Alias” star also skipped the bonding session between her ex-husband and two kids.

But on her Instagram account, Garner revealed that she worked out with two of her female pals at Body by Simone in West Hollywood. The actress shared a photo of herself looking all sweaty after a good workout.

Meanwhile, Affleck made headlines this week after he celebrated his first year being sober. Months earlier, the actor spoke with Ellen DeGeneres about his struggles and said that he’s grateful for every single one of them because they have made him better and stronger.

“There's temptation to say I get depressed and this was hard and that was hard, or I could be embarrassed but I feel so good now, I'm in a great place, kids are healthy, life is good, so whatever it took for me to get to this place, I'm grateful,’” he said.

A source also told US Weekly recently that Affleck is in a much better place now that he’s sober. And he became serious about his sobriety because of his children.

Garner has always supported Affleck with being sober, and the latter is grateful to his ex-wife for everything that she had done for him and their family.

Affleck and Garner announced their separation in 2015, and their divorce was finalized last year.
