Bethenny Frankel has revealed her weird but "very memorable" encounter with Lisa Kudrow after Spencer Pratt named the "Friends" star the rudest celebrity he's ever met.
In a TikTok video posted Sunday, the "Real Housewives of New York City" alum explained that she met Kudrow, known for her iconic role as Phoebe Buffay in "Friends," when the actress appeared as a guest on her since-canceled daytime talk show "Bethenny" in 2012.
Frankel said she believed that Kudrow appeared on her talk show as a "favor" or "quid pro quo" deal since Ellen DeGeneres produced her show.
"She stood out as the person who wanted to be there least out of the entire run," the 51-year-old claimed of Kudrow.
"I described it as if I walked up to her at the supermarket to interview her and she would be like, 'What? You're coming up to me at the frozen food section.' But it was on a talk show set," Frankel recalled.
She continued, "I basically just was asking very basic normal questions and you could tell she didn't want to be there. Which does make two of us."
Frankel's story came following a comment she left on Pratt's two-part story time on TikTok about his encounter with Kudrow, whom he described as "one of the worst humans" he's ever come in contact with "by far."
In his TikTok videos, Pratt revealed that he first met Kudrow while attending a party at the Malibu mansion of former NBC Universal chairman Jeff Gaspin in 2009 alongside his wife Heidi Montag.
"Phoebe approaches, which was a little shocking since nobody had talked to us at all at the party. Right in front of me, she tells Heidi, she needs to get away from me as fast as possible because I'm going to murder Heidi and I have the eyes of a serial killer," Pratt claimed.
He continued, "Heidi wants to see if it's a joke ... no laughs, she just walks away and that right there is the rudest moment I've ever encountered with a human being."
Frankel commented on his video, "That's crazy. She was on my talk show, and I had a crazy experience also." It immediately garnered social media attention because the comment appeared to suggest that Frankel shares Pratt's opinion of the actress.
But in her post Sunday, Frankel made it clear that she has no bad blood with Kudrow.
Frankel clarified in her TikTok video that she had no intention of "piling onto anything with Spencer." She also said she's sure that Kudrow is a "lovely person and a wonderful actress."
"I just saw [Pratt] comment, and it was funny, weird random memory for me to have. A very memorable moment with [Kudrow] on my talk show," she explained. "She didn't want to be interviewed ... which does get in the way of being interviewed."
Frankel also took the time to advise her followers to be careful of what they say, especially on social media, as she did not expect the media to notice and make a big deal out of her comment.
