Bethenny Frankel Returns To Reality Television, But It's Not What You Think
Bethenny Frankel is back!
Less than a year after she left Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City," Frankel has announced her return to reality television with a new business competition series titled, "The Big Shot With Bethenny."
"Did you miss me?" the 49-year-old reality star posted on Wednesday. "I’m BACK…in my new show. It’s personal. It’s business… and EVERYTHING is my business."
According to the press release, "The Big Shot With Bethenny" will showcase the next generation of business moguls as they compete for a chance to be second-in-command to the Skinnygirl founder and win a position on her executive team.
"In business and in life, Frankel never settles and only accepts excellence. Through a series of real-life tasks and challenges, each aspiring mogul will be tested to see how far they can push their creativity and determination to rise to the top," reads the show synopsis.
Frankel teamed up with HBO Max to bring subscribers eight half-hour-long episodes of the new show. The new streaming service is set to launch in May, however, there was no mention of when exactly the show would premiere on the platform.
The self-made businesswoman, New York Times bestseller and mother of 9-year-old daughter Brynn shared her excitement for the new venture which has her teaming up with reality TV mega-producer Mark Burnett.
“Aside from motherhood, what truly defines me as a person is being a driven, passionate and hard-working woman determined to make the impossible possible," she said.
"My mantra is to come from a place of ‘yes’ and to find and create the solution. I am an executor of visions, and I share and impart that information to those who work with me. MGM has been neck-in-neck with me with ideas and their execution," Frankel continued. "I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue my longstanding relationship with Mark Burnett on this series and pay this American Dream story forward.”
