‘Beverly Hills Wedding’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Hallmark Channel might be known for its romance movies year-round, but February is definitely going to be the month to beat in 2021, as the cable network unveils their “Love Ever After” slate, starting with the premiere of “Beverly Hills Wedding,” starring Brooke D’Orsay and Brendan Penny.
Fans will certainly be excited to see two Hallmark vets working on their first project together with this new film. D’Orsay, who is also known for her role as Paige Collins on “Royal Pains,” has been a staple on the holiday movie circuit in recent years. Those titles have included “Miss Christmas,” “Christmas In Love,” “Nostalgic Christmas,” and “A Godwink Christmas: Second Chance, First Love.”
As for Penny, he has been a staple in a variety of different films throughout the years, including “Autumn in the Vineyard,” “A Dash of Love,” “Summer in the Vineyard,” “Magical Christmas Ornaments,” “Pride, prejudice and Mistletoe,” “Valentine in the Vineyard,” “Easter Under Wraps,” “The Secret Ingredient” and “A Little Christmas Charm.” He also starred as Kevin on “Chesapeake Shores.”
So what will happen in D’Orsay and Penny’s first project together?
“When small-town wedding photographer Molly’s (D’Orsay) baby sister gets engaged, she enters the budget-conscious couple in a contest and wins a dream wedding—an all-expenses paid, celeb-worthy event at a historic Beverly Hills hotel, thrown by ‘planner to the stars,’ Terrence Roquefort (Matthew MacCaull),” a synopsis reads.
However, though the wedding may be one made of dreams, there will be some other things to consider—like what her sister really wants, as well as the fact that Molly has some history—and maybe unfinished business—with the best man.
“It all seems perfect, but when the engaged couple seem uneasy with the new plans, and maid of honor duties bring Molly closer to the best man, her ex-boyfriend Cory (Penny), she reconsiders whose dreams she is trying to fulfill,” the synopsis states.
Will the wedding go to waste—or could a different bride be saying “I Do” when everything is said and done?
“Beverly Hills Wedding” premieres Saturday, Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
