Beyonce Baby: Pregnant Singer Will Wear Specially Designed Hairpiece for Delivery
Fans wait impatiently as the Beyoncé baby watch continues. The pop singer and her husband, Jay-Z, are expecting their first child any minute now. As rumors continue to spread about when and where the baby will be born, some details have been released.
In Touch magazine reports that Beyoncé Knowles' family has reserved a private luxury birthing suite at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. The 30-year-old singer has also allegedly had a hairpiece designed for the delivery.
She wanted to look spectacular for her biggest performance ever, a source told In Touch magazine.
MTV also reports that upon Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter's entrance to the world, the couple will release her debut single, Run the World (Me).
Few details regarding Beyoncé's pregnancy have been leaked to the public as the singer and Jay-Z are notoriously private. The couple share very few details about their marriage and denied pregnancy rumors for months.
A source told People Magazine on April 4, 2008, that [The marriage] happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family.
The couple has been married for four years, but started dating in 2002.
Beyoncé announced her pregnancy on Aug. 28, 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards. Following a dazzling performance of Love on Top, she ripped open her sparkly jacket to show her pregnant stomach. The crowd went wild and Kanye West congratulated a beaming Jay-Z.
The private couple has given no indication that they will be releasing photographs of their expected daughter.
If Beyoncé and Jay-Z do decide to share their child with the world, they will probably go the same route as Tom Cruise and Katie [Holmes], Huffington Post reported being told by the editor. Instead of selling the images to a weekly publication, they would give them away for nothing to lock in a cover of a monthly like Vanity Fair. But knowing this couple, it is unlikely we will ever see a staged picture of the child.
