Beyoncé, Jay Z Spotted Together For The First Time Since ‘Lemonade’ Release; ‘Sorry’ Singer Smiles With Husband In Florida

Rumors have been swirling about the status of Jay Z and Beyoncé’s marriage since the release of her visual album “Lemonade” on April 23. Based on some of the album's references, many speculated that the couple, who have been married for nearly a decade and have a 4-year-old daughter, may be headed for divorce — but it seems that’s not the case at all.

E! Online reports that Jay Z and Beyoncé were spotted together in Miami on Wednesday. The pair were photographed riding on the back of a golf cart at Marlins Park, where the “6 INCH” singer is slated to perform the first show on her Formation World Tour. Jay Z can be seen smiling at his wife, who is dressed to the nines in a large black hat, bejeweled outfit and matching tights.

While sources did not comment on the relationship between Jay Z and Beyoncé, it was reported that the 10-time Grammy winner has been putting in late nights in preparation for the show. She is said to be “rehearsing really hard” and getting “little sleep.” Her rapper husband, on the other hand, has been soaking up the sun in Miami. He was spotted outside a hotel indulging in a cigar, according to E!.

“Lemonade” was peppered with lyrics about Jay Z’s alleged infidelity, but one in particular really got fans buzzing. In her song “Sorry,” the fourth on the newly released album, Beyoncé makes reference to “Becky with the good hair” — a mysterious woman whom the Beyhive believe to be Jay Z’s mistress. While fans scramble to figure out who Becky might be, Beyoncé’s father has come forward with what he believes is the answer. In an interview with E! Online, Mathew Knowles explained that Becky is not a who, but rather a what. He told the publication that she is a concept and means something different to each listener.

“Let me tell you who [Beyoncé is] talking about,” he said. “She’s talking about you. You put that in context for you, personally. She’s talking about you and everybody that is you; that’s who she’s talking about.”

Whether Knowles is right or wrong about Becky, the Beyhive has not yet stopped their witch hunt. Initially it was believed that Rachel Roy, an esteemed fashion designer, was the woman in question. Speculation began after she posted a photo on Sunday on Instagram captioned “good hair don’t care.” Beyoncé fans swarmed her comment section, bashing her for allegedly tearing apart their marriage. Roy addressed the controversy, assuring fans that she had too much respect for the sanctity of marriage to be Becky. Confused fans also attacked Food Network star Rachel Ray, mistaking her for the designer, though there appears to be no actual link between Ray and Jay Z.

There was also some speculation that Rita Ora, who was signed to Jay Z’s label Roc Nation for some time, may also be Becky. Rumors started swirling on Saturday after the “Black Widow” singer shared a Snapchat photo of herself wearing a lemon bralette and a “J” necklace. The following day she was seen wearing the same red Gucci outfit from Beyoncé’s “Formation” music video, furthering the Beyhive’s suspicions. She later addressed the drama on Twitter.
