It seems Blue Ivy Carter's parents will leave no stone unturned to emphasize their sybaritic lavishness. The baby girl's parents - American singers Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z - have reportedly spent a splendid $1.5 million on toys.

The couple, for whom this is their first child, became parents late on Saturday night, at a New York city hospital and have since bought their daughter million-dollar toys, including a high chair worth $15,000 and a $30,000 playhouse, according to media reports.

They're really pulling out all the stops - the two of them have been spending like there's no tomorrow! Together they've bought a Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen for $15,000, and a Fantasy 'posh tots' coach carriage crib for $22,000, an unnamed source was quoted as saying, by Britain's Star magazine. In addition, the couple paid about $50,000 for their baby's stroller... the stroller is reportedly encrusted with diamonds and crystals.

It must, of course, be noted that the amount spent on two-day-old Blue Ivy is little, compared to the combined wealth of her parents.
