'Bhad Bhabie' Danielle Bregoli Enters Rehab: Why She Sought Treatment, How Long She'll Stay
Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, became known to millions after her 2016 appearance on "Dr. Phil." During her time on the show, Bregoli infamously challenged the audience by saying, "Catch me outside, how about that?" which led to her viral fame. Following her talk show appearance, she went onto create a successful music career and released songs such as 2018's "Gucci Flip Flops" with Lil Yachty and "Geek'd" with Lil Baby.
Now, a new report has revealed that Bregoli quietly made a positive change in her life a few weeks ago and entered rehab.
According to TMZ, the 17-year-old made the choice to seek professional help to address childhood trauma that she experienced and issues surrounding substance abuse. As stated by the publication, those around Bregoli were aware of her abuse of prescription pills prior to her decision.
Fortunately, those around her have indicated that the rapper is doing well as she continues to get treatment and shared that they are optimistic about the progress she's made thus far. When speaking about the work she has been doing behind the scenes, her management team said that they are "very proud" of her "for recognizing that she needed help and seeking it out."
As for how long she could be at the treatment facility, TMZ stated that she could stay there anywhere between 30 to 90 days.
Outside of her aforementioned career moves since appearing on "Dr. Phil," in 2019, the rapper starred in her own Snapchat reality web series called "Bringing Up Bhabie." Throughout the 12 five-minute episodes, fans got to see an inside look at her life as she managed both her music career and her personal relationships. As reported by Daily Mail, the debut episode was viewed more than 10 million times in 24 hours.
Bregoli is also big on Instagram with 18.4 million followers. On Wednesday, her online absence was addressed with a statement that read, in part, "She loves her fans, and has promised to return better, and healthier than ever. Please respect her and her families privacy at this time."
