CBS dropped a sneak peek for “Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 23 which sees Amy and Penny talking on the phone. The latter asks the former if she has already told Sheldon the news. Amy says that she hasn’t, but she immediately puts the phone down when Sheldon walks into their apartment.
As of late, it is unclear how Sheldon will react to Amy’s news, but it’s possible that things will turn sour between the two. To make things worse, the finale episode for “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 will see the return of Ramona (Riki Lindhome), Sheldon’s former admirer.
Elsewhere in “Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 23, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Sheldon will celebrate the completion of their top secret air force project. While enjoying each other’s company, the trio will be met with an unpleasant surprise.
Meanwhile, the ratings for the previous episode of “Big Bang Theory” helped the hit sitcom rank no. 1 in the weekly ratings for April 24 to 30. The episode averaged 12.52 million viewers or a 2.6 rating among audiences aged 18 to 49. These figures came as a surprise because “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 dropped to its series low two weeks ago. Following last Thursday’s episode, “Big Bang Theory” even beat out “Dancing With the Stars,” which raked in only 10.38 million viewers, according to TV By the Numbers.
Additionally, the cast of “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 also had something else to rejoice about last week. According to Variety, the contracts of Bialik and Rauch have already been amended. The two female cast members will be receiving $500,000 per episode for Seasons 11 and 12. The new rate means that the co-stars will be receiving $300,000 more per episode compared to their $200,000 income per installment in the previous seasons.
Bialik and Rauch’s co-stars Galecki, Cuoco, Nayyar, Parsons and Helberg will all be receiving $900,000 for all upcoming 48 episodes for Seasons 11 and 12. Originally, the five cast members were supposed to receive $1 million per episode, but they offered to give Bialik and Rauch $50,000 each from their paycheck. Galecki, Cuoco, Nayyar, Parsons and Helberg have been part of “Big Bang Theory” since Season 1. Bialik and Rauch, on the other hand, were first featured in Season 3. But it was only in Season 4 that they became regular cast members.
“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 23 will air on CBS on May 4 at 8 p.m. EST.
