But even though this isn’t the first time he’s said something to his ally, Christmas Abbot, this still doesn’t mean that the two of them are ready to get some blood on their hands. After Paul suspiciously told Christmas and Josh that Jason Dent should be evicted first before Alex Ow, the duo realized that Paul is protecting the latter, according to Big Brother Network.
What other reason could there be for Paul to have Alex’s back than if the two of them have a final two alliance. And that’s exactly what Paul and Alex have. In fact, the two houseguests also vowed to make everyone think that they are working with them, but when it’s time to get rid of the other houseguests they would evict everyone except each other.
This puts Jason in a very risky position since all this while, he was certain that he and Alex were working together. Paul has also aligned himself with Christmas and Josh, but with the returning vet’s partnership with Alex, Christmas and Josh should realized that they would immediately go up the block if either Alex or Paul becomes next week’s Head of Household (HOH).
This week, Christmas has been named as HOH – by default – because everyone threw the game at her following Paul’s instructions. After all, Paul doesn’t want to get any blood on his hands if either Jason or Alex would be sent home on Thursday night. But Christmas could’ve not wasted her HOH by listening to Josh and taking a hit at Paul because this could be their only chance.
If Paul or Alex gets HOH next week, Christmas and Josh are the final two houseguests working together that could be split. And Paul and Alex’s chances at winning HOH are so much higher than that of Christmas or Josh. Kevin Schlehuber will most likely go up as a pawn again until there are only five individual players left.
“Big Brother” Season 19 airs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
