‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Casts ‘Big Brother’ 19 Alum Jessica Graf
“Big Brother” Season 19 alum Jessica Graf just landed her first acting gig since leaving the hit CBS reality TV competition.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Graf will play the role of a hostess working at Il Giardino in the CBS soap opera, “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Graf will be filming her scenes on Sept. 5, and she will share some screen time with her co-stars, Heather Tom, Darin Brooks and Kimberlin Brown.
Graf was eliminated from the “Big Brother” house just one week away from jury. Even though she did not make it, her showmance, Cody Nickson, managed to survive in the game for another week. Following her eviction, Graf told Entertainment Weekly that the other houseguests booted her off because they were “threatened” by her.
“I think people were willing to say anything to break that alliance up,” she said with regards wanting to split her and Nickson up. “They came close. Cody wanted to leave at one point and I would have supported him if that’s what he needed but I would have never stabbed Cody in the back. I couldn’t continue knowing I had to stab someone in the back that I completely trusted and be left with everyone else in the house. I think that says a lot about my character,” she said.
“Big Brother” host Julie Chen also admitted that she was rooting for Graf because of the way she played her game. In another interview with EW after Graf’s elimination, Chen said that she is on Team Jessica.
“I like how Jessica is playing the game. She is smart and stands up for herself and is strong willed. I admire that. She doesn’t suffer fools lightly. She speaks her and mind and has a firm grasp on the game and the people in the house. I am currently on Team Jessica,” she said.
On her Instagram account, Graf also made an announcement about her casting in “The Bold and the Beautiful” and confirmed that her episode will air on Oct. 2. The former houseguest also expressed her excitement over her newest venture.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
