Is 'Big Sky' Episode 6 Airing This Week? Spoilers, Release Date Revealed

“Big Sky” Episode 6 is only weeks away from its release date. The highly-anticipated episode of David E. Kelley’s show is expected to move forward from the massive fall finale cliffhanger that saw Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) shoot Rick Legarski (John Carroll Lynch) in his head.

The last-aired episode titled “A Good Day to Die” saw Cassie and Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) raid a remote location where they suspected Ronald Bergman ( (Brian Geraghty) was hiding the Sullivan sisters (Natalie Alynn Lind and Jade Pettyjohn) and Jerrie (Jesse Keitel). However, things don’t go as planned after Rick and Ronald moved the truck to a different location.

Meanwhile, Ronald’s mother confronts him about his involvement in the girls’ disappearance. He ends up taking his mother by her throat and choking her, but stops midway. While Jenny takes the fall for placing a tracker on a police vehicle and gets jailed, Cassie goes after Rick by herself and discovers muffled screams of the girls. The finale ends with Cassie shooting Rick in his head.

When the show returns with “Big Sky” episode 6, the two leading ladies will finally discover the tragic truth about Cody’s (Ryan Philippe) death. The next chapter of the series is titled “The Wolves Are always Out for Blood” and it will see Jenny and Cassie get another step closer to the truth.

As per the synopsis, the ladies are about to make things official and go after Ronald. In addition, the show will see the aftermath of Merrilee’s confrontation with her husband. She will realize how little she knew about her husband as shocking truths about him begin to unravel. Elsewhere, Helen will get a deeper look into her son’s life.

“After Jenny and Cassie learn the truth about Cody’s fate, they decide to officially team up to track down Ronald. Elsewhere, Merrilee grapples with the fact that she didn’t truly know her husband, while Helen learns more about her son’s recent activities,” reads the official synopsis on Cartermatt.

“Big Sky” episode 6 releases on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
