“Have faith.. No words to ease heartbreak. So so sorry for your loss,” one fan wrote on Lourd’s Instagram post. It has been a week since the Fox star has been active on her social media account.
The last photo posted was of herself and her “Scream Queens” co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis, John Stamos, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin and Niecy Nash. In the caption, the 24-year-old praised the cast and called them her family.
Since the post, fans continue to comment on the photo showing their support for Lourd in her time of need. “Everyone is saying stay strong but sometimes we need to let at least 5 seconds of fear come in or whatever ur feeling, but after that, ur strong and I know u will stay strong!” another fan wrote.
One fan encouraged the actress to look to the future. “You’ll be ok Billie. Stay strong we all love you.” Another viewer begged the star to stay strong despite her grief. “We all love you luv, Please stay strong. We all can’t even possibly imagine what kind of horrible pain you are going through. Please let your innocent heart rest. Stay strong,” the Instagram user wrote.
Lourd lost her mother on Tuesday after Fisher, 60, failed to recover from a heart attack she had on Friday during a flight from London to Los Angeles, TMZ reported.
Reynolds, 80, passed away one day after her daughter when she suffered from a stroke. The actress reportedly had several strokes over the past year but the grief from her daughter’s death proved to be too much for her.
Reynold’s son, Todd Fisher, said in his mother’s final moments she spoke about her late daughter. “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie,” Reynolds reportedly said 15 minutes before her life ending stroke.
