Start saving your extra dollars and rest up, because Black Friday, a day devoted to the joys of consumerism, is nearly upon us.

Black Friday, which falls on Nov. 29 this year, will bring heavy discounts and slashed prices from major retailers like Walmart, Target, Sears, Best Buy and more. Shoppers can save on items from electronics to apparel to home goods and anything else on their holiday shopping lists.

And now that we know what time nearly every store will be open for Black Friday – and Thanksgiving Day store hours if doors will open on the holiday – it’s time to make our shopping list and check it twice.
