‘The Blacklist’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 17 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Mr. Solomon’? [VIDEO]

April 7 will be a nice day for “Red Wedding.” The time has finally come for Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) to get married on NBC’s “The Blacklist” Season 3. However, just when it seems like the two are finally getting ready to settle down as a family, the Cabal will return to crash their wedding. Red (James Spader) will also have to help the task force save the world from a potential disaster in episode 17, titled “Mr. Solomon.”

According to the synopsis, Red will learn that thieves will be after a “tactical nuclear weapon.” He will inform the task force, who will then have to try and get to the weapon to stop a potential nuclear disaster. Cabal villain Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) will make a return in the episode and he could have something up his sleeve for Red and Liz.

This nuclear weapon won’t be the only thing Red is trying to stop. The promo video shows Red trying to talk Liz out of marrying Tom. Red feels that Liz doesn’t know who Tom really is and that he’s not worthy of being her husband or the father of their child. Liz and Red aren’t exactly on the greatest terms either after Liz learned that Red had lied to her about her mother. Liz’s mother is still alive and Red kept this a secret from Liz.

The synopsis also teases that Liz and Tom are going to make a decision that could change their relationship. It’s unclear if this decision is to move forward with the wedding or if something else will happen that can make things difficult for the couple and their future baby. It looked like Tom was ready to put the spy life behind him, but he could have some unfinished business to attend to before the ceremony.

Spader appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night and talked about what’s to come in the remaining episodes of Season 3. He said the first two returning episodes are “nuts” and suggested fans won’t want to miss them.
