K-pop band Blackpink’s agency, YG Entertainment, has revealed some new information about the viewers who tuned in to watch the former's first-ever online concert, which took place Sunday.

According to YG Entertainment, the US topped the list with the greatest number of virtual concertgoers who tuned in to enjoy the group’s first online concert, Soompi reported.

The 12 countries mentioned by YG, according to their respective rankings, are the U.S., Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The U.S. dominated the list and grabbed the first spot as it comprised 19.2% of all the people who attended the concert.

The concert titled "The Show" was exclusively broadcasted on Blackpink's official YouTube channel and had over 280,000 viewers from across the world (excluding China). The paid concert, which required viewers to purchase memberships to Blackpink’s YouTube channel, raked in about $10.5 million from sales.

"The Show," which lasted for about 90 minutes, was made up of various powerful performances and hit songs from the group. The performances included "Crazy Over You," "How You Like That," "Playing With Fire," "Whistle," "Lovesick Girls," "Sour Candy," "Pretty Savage," "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du."

It also included solo performances such as "Gone" by ‎Rosé, "Habits" by Jisoo, "Say So" by Lisa, and "Solo" by Jennie, Soompi reported.

This was the band’s first-ever online live stream concert since their debut in 2016. During the concert, the girls reminisced about their first live performance and also talked about the impacts and changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blackpink also holds the record for the first K-pop group with the highest number of subscribers on YouTube. The band’s channel is also ranked second on the overall most subscribed artist list on the platform, with American singer Justin Bieber leading the rankings.

Following the announcement of the live concert, Blackpink’s YouTube channel saw a spike in its subscribers as it increased by 2.7 million, bringing them to a total of 56.8 million subscribers.

Blackpink and BTS have both been nominated for Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2021 under different categories and voting is now open.
