Blake Shelton-Gwen Stefani Update: ‘The Voice’ Coach ‘Really Trusts’ Shelton While Miranda Lambert Remains Silent Over Rumors

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s dating rumors have been heating for months now, despite the two not responding to the reports. According to a new report, Stefani is getting connected with Miranda Lambert’ former husband and is extremely comfortable around him.

“The beauty of it is that you can tell she really trusts him,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He doesn’t have this predatory energy about him like a lot of guys, and because they started as friends, her guard is down.”

Shelton and Stefani have been getting close to each other since their split with their respective partners. The two sparked dating rumors with their “hardcore flirting” on “The Voice.”

On Monday, Hollywood Life reported that “The Voice” team members are teasing Stefani, who split with her husband Gavin Rossdale in June, over her rumored romance with the “Sangria” singer.

“Blake and Gwen flirt like crazy! They had a great rapport right away, but it didn’t really cross over into flirting until they both split from their spouses,” a source close to the show told Hollywood Life. “Now, it’s full throttle. They have all these inside jokes and we tease Gwen because she laughs waaay too hard at Blake’s jokes. She has this little giggle that she does and it’s so cute. Blake loves to come up behind her, cover her eyes with his hands and do an Adam Levine impression or something. It just cracks her up.”

Shelton and his wife Lambert announced their divorce in July, following which rumors circulated that the catalyst for the split was an extramarital affair between Lambert and country singer Chris Young. Shelton was also reportedly accused of having an affair with singer Cady Groves.

Lambert has not addressed Shelton and Stefani’s dating rumors, despite some reports claiming that her ex-husband’s constant flirting with Stefani was to make her feel jealous. The “Over You” singer has kept herself busy with her music and friends. Recently, she also adopted a stray kitten.
