Blake Shelton complained about being “bullied” recently, expressing his helplessness about the situation. Garth Brooks apparently called the “God’s Country” singer “Mr. Stefani,” referring to his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, and the two discussed the situation in a recent interview.

Shelton and Brooks got together recently for a live performance of their collaboration “Dive Bar.” Stefani’s boyfriend spoke to ET Online after the performance and complained about being “bullied” by his fellow country singer.

The fans were pleasantly surprised by the live performance of the two singers, but they did not know what happened back stage. Shelton said that he got a message from Brooks before the event, informing him that his dressing room was ready. The "Voice" coach also got an image of a paper in the dressing room that was supposed to carry his name. Instead of calling him Blake Shelton, the paper referred to him as “Mr. Stefani.”

Shelton complained that he was being “bullied” by Brooks “little bit.” What makes the situation difficult for Stefani’s boyfriend is that he can’t respond to the teasing because Brooks is “like the godfather of country music.”

Brooks on the other hand explained that his teasing can’t be called bullying. “You ever think this big of a boy has been bullied, ever?” he reasoned.

While Shelton was teased about Stefani, the pop singer had to miss the event. She is currently busy with her Las Vegas residency, and Shelton said that she wished to be there too. The country singer later added that his girlfriend will be able to see everything that happened at the event by simply looking at the social media posts.

Stefani not only looked at the pictures of the event, but also posted a video on her Instagram page. Shelton too shared a picture of him hugging Brooks on stage and wrote that he had a “hell of a time” at the event.
