‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 10 Promo Teases Patterson's, Reade's Fates [VIDEO]

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 10 will see Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Reade (Rob Brown) in serious trouble.

In “Nor I, Nigel, Aka Leg in Iron,” Patterson goes missing after it was revealed that the man he is dating, Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach), is a mole for Sandstorm. The promo confirms that Patterson is alive, but she is in grave danger because Dr. Borden was able to track her down. In one of the scenes, Patterson points a gun at Dr. Borden. It is unclear if she will kill him before Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) arrive to rescue her.

Meanwhile, Patterson will surely make it out alive toward the end of episode 10. After all, executive producer Martin Gero confirmed that the character will also be a huge part of episode 14. As of late, Patterson’s first name still hasn’t been revealed, but a hint will be unveiled soon. “Keep an eye on episode 14 – there might be a little something there, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up. There’s at least a wink to the people that want it,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 10 will also show Reade unconscious and seriously injured while at the hospital. His teammate and good friend, Zapata (Audrey Esparza), becomes worried that he won’t make it out alive as the latter is in tears while looking at Reade.

While speaking with the same publication during a separate interview, Gero said that there’s so much in store for both characters in the second half of the hit NBC series. “I think they have a really beautiful and complicated relationship. Audrey and Rob have just dong amazing work this year. I feel like this season feels so much richer, and a lot has to do with the weight they’ve been able to carry. We’re nowhere near done with that story, that’s all I’ll say,” he said.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 10 will air on NBC on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. EST.
