News and financial data publisher Bloomberg LP said on Thursday that it has acquired New Energy Finance, which provides news and data on carbon and clean energy markets.

Financial terms and other details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Bloomberg, controlled by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, said in October that it would buy BusinessWeek magazine from McGraw-Hill Companies. (Reporting by Santosh Nadgir in Bangalore)
