Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Family Rejoices As Bobbi Kristina Is Taken Off Life Support
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family took to social media to express happiness after it was announced that the 22-year-old was awake and taken off life support. Bobby Brown had made the announcement during a concert on Saturday in Texas that his daughter is “awake.”
Tina Brown, Bobby Brown’s sister, wrote on Facebook on Monday: "So many messages, sorry can't answer them all right now but I will get to them later..just allow me this time with my family,,yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support!!!!!:):)God is good!!thanks for your prayers,,still a process, but she is going to be ok:):):):)"
The family has, however, not yet disclosed how well Bobbi Kristina is recovering since being taken off life support, according to E! News.
"I could say today…Bobbi is awake," Bobby Brown had told the audience at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, adding: “She is watching me.”
Kelilah Fell, a person reportedly close to the situation, said on Facebook: “Please don't stop praying for Bobbi Kris even though she is off life support and she has woke up. We are decreeing life in her body and healing and we want to pray that god restore her body and everywhere that she hurts and we want god to mend her broken heart and make her whole all over again.”
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub of her house in Atlanta on Jan. 31 and was admitted to Emory University Hospital. Since then, she has been in a medically induced coma due to a swelling in the brain. She was moved to the Dekalb Medical facility last month, where she is being treated in a private room. In mid-February, doctors had tried taking her off life support, but were unsuccessful as she ended up having seizures.
