‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: How Will Hope React To Steffy’s Adoption News?

She is still grieving the loss of her own baby who died during childbirth, and now, Hope will be stunned when she learns that Steffy is adopting a baby girl of her own on the Tuesday, Jan. 29 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made the decision to adopt the baby Florence (Katrina Bowden) was offering, and with Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo) financial help, it seems to be going off without a hitch on the CBS soap. However, when Liam (Scott Clifton) decides to break the news to Hope (Annika Noelle) about what’s going off, it could set the grieving mother off.

“Liam breaks the news to Hope that Steffy is adopting a baby girl,” spoilers reveal.

Hope will likely be somewhat inconsolable again when she learns the news, because she will likely find it insensitive since her daughter, Beth, was supposed to be Steffy’s daughter Kelly’s half-sister, and it will feel like the other woman is trying to replace the baby who died with another. She will also likely be annoyed with Liam since he told Steffy it would be okay to adopt so soon after their tragedy.

However, the situation could also force her to try and decide to get some answers about what exactly happened on Catalina when she was in labor, since she still feels a connection to her daughter, even though she’s been told the baby died.

Of course, what none of them know is that the baby is alive and well—and the little girl Steffy thinks is going to be her new little girl Phoebe, is really Beth after all.
