‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Katie And Wyatt Grow Closer
They shared an unexpected kiss after realizing their campaign to raise a large amount of money for Spencer charities through a fashion face-off challenge was an overwhelming success. Now, Katie and Wyatt will consider what it means as their attraction to one another continues to simmer on the Wednesday, Aug. 2 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Katie (Heather Tom) had Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) help with orchestrating the successful beachwear show in Monte Carlo, which also served as a fashion showdown between Forrester and Spectra. Though Bill (Don Diamont) has refused to acknowledge that Spectra was victorious, he was all-too happy to announce that the event had raised over $1 million for Spencer charities. After realizing they had that much success with the campaign, Wyatt and Katie shared a steamy kiss.

Now, they are wondering what to make of their obvious attraction towards one another, which has already resulted in steamy makeout sessions, and as Wyatt suggests that they potentially take things to a new level, Katie will warn him that she won’t let things go that far.
“Here’s what’s going to happen,” she says in a preview clip. “You’re going to go back to your room, and I’m going to go back to my room.”
Wyatt may playfully tease her that it’d be more fun if they went back to the same room, and the two could find themselves once again locking lips. However, when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) comes looking for Katie, they will quickly spring apart, though Brooke will notice that Katie seems a little warm, and will question her sister about what’s going on with her.
“What’s going on?” She asks Katie and Wyatt in the clip.
“Nothing, nothing,” Katie replies.
“Yeah,” Wyatt adds.
“You look a little flushed, are you okay?” Brooke asks her sister.

Katie will assure Brooke that she is fine, and when her sister moves on elsewhere, she may remind Wyatt that getting involved would be too risky for them, considering how they’re connected. She may remind him that she is Will’s mother and was once Bill’s wife, and she worries that getting involved with his son could complicate things, especially since he has gone on to marry Brooke.
However, no stranger to complicated romances after Hope, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) all left him to pursue relationships with his brother, Liam (Scott Clifton), that likely won’t deter Wyatt, and he could become more determined than ever to convince Katie that they should get together and see where their mutual attraction takes them.
Of course, if they do decide to go for it and be together, it could also create another unforeseen complication, as Wyatt’s mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer), will also likely have a strong objection to the romance.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
