‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Nicole Breaks Devastating News To Her Parents

She thought for sure that she would once again have an experience of carrying a baby, this time for herself and her husband. But Nicole will be forced to share the devastating news she may not in fact be able to do so on the Wednesday, May 24 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Nicole (Reign Edwards) and Zende (Rome Flynn) have been trying since they got married to have a baby of their own, but haven’t had any success conceiving yet on the CBS soap. Nicole went to see a doctor and was shocked to learn that despite conceiving Lizzy the first time when she served as Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya’s (Karla Mosley) surrogate, she may not conceive again, due to scarring that has developed and could make her infertile. Now, she will share her devastating news with her parents, Julius (Obba Babatunde) and Vivienne (Anna Maria Horsford) as she comes to terms with the unexpected turn of events.

“I might not ever be able to get pregnant again,” she cries in a preview clip.

However, while Vivienne will be soothing and supportive and allow her daughter to cry, Julius will be more certain that it isn’t possible, and will inform his daughter that she will get pregnant again, because he doesn’t think she was only meant to get pregnant the one time.

“You will not have had a baby for your sister and not have one of your own,” he says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Zende is ready to celebrate with his wife because he is not only sure that they will soon find out that they’re pregnant and having a child together, but because he also has received other good news from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). After Thomas (Pierson Fode) was fired from Forrester as a designer because of his continued relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Zende was presented with the offer to become a designer in his place. Now, he wants to celebrate with his wife, and will even hint to RJ (Anthony Turpel) and Coco (Courtney Grosbeck) that he thinks the good news he has to share tonight will be the kind that will help bring his and Nicole’s plans to start a family even further along.

“We’re officially trying and I wouldn't be surprised if we got a visit from the stork nine months from now,” he says in the clip.

“Oh, champagne, good news to tell Nicole.” RJ teases. “No wonder you think you’re going to get a baby in nine months.”

However, Zende has no clue about the bad news that Nicole may be forced to share with him instead, which could truly put a major roadblock in their marriage, since having a baby was extremely important to both of them.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
