‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Nicole’s Battle With Rick And Maya Heats Up

She’s having trouble signing the adoption papers again which would mean she is giving up all the rights she has as Lizzie’s biological mother. As Nicole continues to struggle with the situation, the confrontation between she and Rick over her hesitation will turn heated on the Wednesday, June 21 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Nicole (Reign Edwards) learned that there was a good chance she would never conceive a child again after scarring she suffered while serving as a surrogate so Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley) could have Lizzie on the CBS Soap. Since then, she’s been heartbroken over the news, because she wants to have a family with Zende (Rome Flynn), and partially feels she gave up her only chance to be a mom when she gave up her daughter (Lizzie is biologically hers since Maya is transgender). Now, after a clerical error on the adoption papers has meant she needs to once again sign over her parental rights, she has said she can’t do it, because of the emotions she’s feeling over potentially being able to take Lizzie back.

However, while Maya said she’d give her sister time to sign the papers, Rick was less patient and went to confront her. Now, after things get heated during a confrontation between them, Zende will race to his wife’s side to defend her against Rick’s verbal attack.

“Don’t you ever raise your voice to my wife again,” he threatens in a preview clip.

Now, the confrontation between the two couples seems to be in full swing again, and it is hotter than it has ever been. Nicole is seriously considering backing down on letting Maya and Rick legally adopt Lizzie, because a part of her feels this may be her only shot at being a mother. Knowing this, Maya will admit to Rick that she’s worried they will lose their little girl, and until she knows for a fact that Nicole will honor the promise she gave them a long time ago, she won’t be able to focus on anything else.

“I won’t be able to rest easy until she signs those papers,” she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Coco (Courtney Grosbeck) is discussing the situation with RJ (Anthony Turpel), after she helped calm Nicole down when she had an emotional breakdown about her fertility situation. Though neither of the teens is yet aware of how the situation has since changed, Coco will reveal to RJ that she feels badly for her friend, and wishes there was a way she could help her get what she truly wants.

“Nic and Zende deserve to be happy,” she says. “I just wish that there was something that I could do to help.”

Now, the situation could come down to what Zende thinks, since he is the only one who has not yet voiced an opinion, and doesn’t have any stake in Lizzie the way the other three do. Because Lizzie is biologically Nicole and Rick’s daughter, there are valid reasons for Nicole’s attachment. However, he might feel that taking the little girl from the people she’s known as her parents is the wrong call, and it could drive a wedge in their marriage.
