‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Quinn Begs Eric For A Second Chance

She has been left with no information about where her husband has disappeared to since he learned of her affair, and has felt helpless about the state of her marriage as a result. However, Quinn will be given the opportunity to try and convince Eric to give her another chance again when he resurfaces on the Thursday, Aug. 3 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After Eric (John McCook) learned of Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) brief affair involving kissing and flirting, he went into hiding on the CBS soap. His family became alarmed when they learned he was with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) of all people and became desperate to find him. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) eventually figured out where he was hiding, and promised after shooting Sheila that she wouldn’t tell Ridge or Quinn where he was. She eventually broke down and told Ridge, who went to his father to convince him to come home. That also proved unsuccessful, and saw Eric make the heartbreaking decision to disown Ridge as his son.

However, the one person who has consistently remained in the dark about Eric’s whereabouts and what's going through his head has been Quinn, who has stayed holed up in the Forrester Mansion, refusing to leave in case he came home. However, the lack of information has continued to infuriate and frustrate her, and she will cry to Ridge to give her the information she wants because she fears that the time apart is only deepening the problems in her marriage.

“The divide between us grows every day that we’re apart,” she says in a preview clip.

However, before Ridge can give her the information, Quinn will get the phone call she’s been waiting for, when Eric finally picks up his phone to speak with her. She will be delighted when he reveals he wants to come home, and will quickly begin to prepare for an apology that she hopes will get them back to a good place in their marriage.

When Eric arrives at the mansion, Quinn will greet him and immediately pick up on the fact that he hasn’t forgiven her yet, and she will beg him to give her a second chance to be the wife she wanted to be, and to put the past behind them.

“I can’t change the past,” she says in the clip. “All I can be is the wife that you deserve to have, from this moment forward.”

However, Eric may not actually want to hear her apologies or what she has to say, because he may have told Quinn that he wants to come home, but he may not have meant that he wanted that home to include her any longer.

After disowning Ridge, it will be likely that Eric will decide he can no longer forgive Quinn either, and she may be devastated if he informs her he’s asking for a divorce.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
