‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Quinn Reacts After Catching Wyatt And Katie
She had wanted her son to move on after his marriage to Steffy ended, but now that Quinn has caught Wyatt in bed with Katie, all hell may break loose instead on the Monday, Oct. 16 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Quinn (Rena Sofer) has been considering trying to set Wyatt (Darin Brooks) up with someone since he’s been single for a while now, after he and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) divorced so she could marry Liam (Scott Clifton) again. However, she didn’t expect to walk into Katie’s (Heather Tom) house on the CBS soap and see none other than her own son in bed with her enemy. Now, she is livid, as the two are trying to cover up, and she won’t hesitate to order Katie to never go anywhere near Wyatt again.
“Whatever this, THIS, is, it’s over,” she says in a preview clip, “You stay the hell away from my son.”
As Quinn continues to deliver ultimatums to the pair, and expressing anger and upset over what she’s discovered, they will attempt to fightback however, with Wyatt reminding his mother that he is a grown adult who can make his own decisions about who he dates or sleeps with. However, nothing will placate Quinn, and she will officially be on the warpath again when it comes to making sure her son winds up with someone she actually approves of him being with.
Meanwhile, at the Forrester Estate, Eric (John McCook) is worried about what is happening over at Katie’s. He too walked in on the two of them just a few days earlier, after getting a hint from Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) that they were together. Now, after learning from Mateo (Francisco San Martin) that Quinn is at Katie’s because Wyatt was there, he will express regret that he didn’t tell her what he had learned, and will continue worrying that her finding out this way will have a disastrous effect.
“I should have told her as soon as I found out,” he says. “It was a big mistake to keep it a secret.”
However, when Quinn finally arrives back home, her focus may not be on what Eric may or may not have known, meaning that in that respect, their own marriage, which has been getting rebuilt since her quasi-affair with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), should be okay from the threat that Eric keeping such a huge secret from her could impose.
Of course, Quinn focusing all of her attention on Wyatt and Katie in general could put her in an increasingly more vulnerable position. Neither she nor Eric is aware that Sheila is paying Mateo to try and seduce Quinn so she and Eric will be forced to split up again, this time for good, giving Sheila the chance she wants to become Mrs. Forrester instead. If Quinn keeps her guard down because she’s stressing about her son’s love life, if could give the scheme against her a chance to really take root.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
