'Bold And The Beautiful' Spoilers: Steffy Finally Confesses The Truth To Liam
He's been floored ever since discovering she had a paternity test conducted without his knowledge. Now, on the Wednesday, Jan, 3 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful," Liam will finally get all the answers he needs from Steffy about her pregnancy.
Liam (Scott Clifton) confronted Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) after discovering the test on the CBS soap, and quickly realized that the night she slept with someone else was the same night as their fight, when she was at Eric's (John McCook) guest house. Initially hurt that she proceeded to renew her marriage vows with him that same night, he then became adamant that she tell him who he slept with, and was stunned when she finally confessed that it was his father, Bill (Don Diamont).
However, now, he will quickly become concerned that there's an even more sinister side to the story, and will quickly console his wife, telling her that they won't hesitate to take action against Bill if he somehow forced Steffy to sleep with him.
"Don't protect him," he says in a preview clip. "Because if he drugged you or anything, he has to be held accountable."
Unfortunately for Liam, Steffy will then be forced to admit the truth, that Bill didn't persuade her to sleep with him or do anything else to force the situation.
Even after being honest, Steffy will still try to salvage the situation by telling Liam that it doesn't matter what happened, because she's completely committed to both him and their marriage, and also knows without a reason to doubt that the baby is Liam's and not Bill's. However, Liam won't be able to look her in the eye anymore, and with all the trust he had in her destroyed, he will walk out and leave Steffy alone.
Meanwhile, Bill will be unaware of the storm that is headed his way, as he discusses the new baby with Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
"What's more wonderful than welcoming another Spencer into the fold, huh?" Wyatt asks in the clip.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
