‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Why Is Liam Worried About Hope’s Ultrasound?

They are celebrating their recent marriage and their impending parenthood together. However, as they arrive at their ultrasound appointment, Liam will surprisingly express concerns to Hope about their current situation on the Friday, Aug. 29 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After seeing Liam (Scott Clifton) with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and their own baby, Kelly, Hope (Annika Noelle) reminded him of their own appointment on the CBS soap. Now, the two have arrived at the doctor’s office, where Hope will express excitement about the situation. However, Liam will surprise her as he voices a concern about the appointment.

“We get to see our baby today,” Hope gushes in a preview clip for the episode.

“Yeah, I’m actually a little concerned about that,” Liam admits.

Hope will wonder why he seems reluctant to be there, but may quickly get an answer when the doctor steps in—and it’s clear that she and Liam already know one another.

As it turns out, Steffy and Hope will have the same OB, Dr. Phillips (Robin Givens), and Liam may be uncomfortable being there as a result. When he was last there, learning about Steffy’s pregnancy, the two of them were happily married. Afterward, they were estranged as they got through their drama from her betrayal with Bill (Don Diamont). Still, despite everything, Liam was by Steffy’s side when she gave birth to Kelly, and it seemed like they were set to be together again.

Now, however, he and Steffy are apart for good, after her insistence that she couldn’t fight for him anymore, and he and Hope have now married, after a short engagement. Naturally, he may be a bit embarrassed that he’s back just a few months after he was last there with Steffy, now checking on another woman’s pregnancy, one who is also his wife.

The situation may also be difficult for Hope because she might start to have difficulty accepting how much Steffy and Liam still have to tie them together.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
