Bold and the Beautiful

They became scared when she began to suffer from painful cramps and other signs something was wrong. Now, after their doctor has trouble locating the baby’s heartbeat, Hope and Liam will prepare for the worst-case scenario on the Tuesday, Sept. 4 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Hope (Annika Noelle) began experiencing pain and called Liam (Scott Clifton) to meet her at the doctor’s office. As he tried to calm his wife down, the doctor came in on the CBS soap and began trying to check and see if everything is okay. However, while finding the baby was easy, there have been concerns about finding the heartbeat. Now, Hope and Liam will be frantic as they worry that their child together may no longer be alive.

“Why aren’t we hearing the heartbeat?” Hope cries in a preview clip for the episode.

“I know,” Liam says as he responds in soothing tones and tries to keep her calm.

The couple will continue to worry about their situation, frantic that the worst has happened. However, no matter the outcome, they still have unconditional support from Liam’s ex, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who will continue showing the pair that she will be by their sides and keep their former rivalries at bay, especially as they panic through the current situation.

“We all have to be there for each other,” she says in the clip. “In a way we’ve never been.”

However, even if everything winds up okay for the couple and their baby is fine, things won’t be so lucky when it comes to the truce Hope and Steffy have struck. Though their days of fighting over Liam are finished, they are set to be pitted against one another again—this time, at the office.

A preview for the week’s episodes suggests that the two lines each woman heads at Forrester may be on the chopping block, with room for only one to stick to around. With Hope adamant that she gets to relaunch her Hope For The future Line, and Steffy trying to revamp the bedroom line, both women feel that they need their futures at Forrester completely secured. Despite their best intentions of being friends, their old rivalry is set to reignite in one of its most fiery forms yet.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
