'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Chapter 56 V-Jump Preview, Spoilers: Code Goes After Boruto And Company

Boruto and his friends seem to be never getting a chance to rest. After the decisive battle against Isshiki Ohtsutsuki, Boruto and Kawaki prepare for another threat. The latest spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 56 are out teasing Code's arrival.

Twitter user Abdul Zoldyck tweeted the V-Jump preview for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" 56 and credited rocha_luana for translation.

The preview suggests Boruto and Kawaki will accept each other and just when they thought things are getting better, a new foe appears.

Code, the worshipper of Ohtsutsuki, turns hostile toward Boruto and the others. Moreover, Code, who is a member of Kara, possesses the White Karma.

In the previous chapter, Naruto, who is unconscious, sees Kurama who announces that he has appeared to bid goodbye and tells him this might be their last conversation.

Naruto says they have been through a lot, but he is glad to have him around. Kurama tells him the Baryon Mode worked and they were able to defeat Ohtsutsuki. Naruto is still worried about Boruto, Kawaki and the village, but Kurama tells him it is none of his concern.

He adds Naruto needs to take care of things on his own from now, indicating he will be gone. Kurama reveals the Bayron Mode's ultimate price is his life and not Naruto's.

Before departing, Kurama warns Naruto against overexerting during battles as he will not have any superhuman strength anymore.

Naruto wakes up and finds Boruto, Sasuke and Kawaki. In the chapter, Boruto decides to open the portal again using Karma to head back to the village. However, Boruto is unable to launch the Space-time Ninjutsu. Kawaki steps in and helps Boruto open the portal and they appear on top of the village's administrative offices.

Meanwhile, Code meets Isshiki's soul who informs the former about his inability to reincarnate. Isshiki tells Code that he will be the one to fulfill the will of Ohtsutsuki. Toward the end of the chapter, Code declares he will deal with Boruto, Kawaki, Amado, Sasuke, and Naruto.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 56 is scheduled to release Friday. The digital version of the chapter will be available on Viz and Manga Plus.
