'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Chapter 65 Spoilers: Boruto In Trouble

Boruto fights valiantly against Code in his Momoshiki form. However, Kawaki is still worried that Boruto might lose control. Unfortunately, Chapter 64 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" ends with Boruto collapsing in the middle of the fight.

The reason for his collapse remains unknown but it is likely "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 65 will open by addressing the cliffhanger moment of the previous chapter.

Code and Eida have just been watching things unfold in front of them and are yet to take advantage of the situation.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 64, Boruto appeared in his Momoshiki form before Kawaki and Code in the forest.

Kawaki was shocked to see Momoshiki taking control over his brother's consciousness. In the meantime, both Code and Eida were puzzled to see him.

Code wondered how was it possible for Momoshiki to emerge to this degree when Boruto was just a vessel.

What was more shocking was that it was Boruto who was in control this time despite Momoshiki being at the forefront.

He asked his brother Kawaki to step back while he launched the Shadow Doppelgangers Jutsu against Code, who realized the enemy was stronger than before.

Fierce close combat ensued and Boruto's doppelgangers relentlessly went after the opponent. Using his metal claws, Code was able to save himself, while Boruto called it an annoying ability.

Meanwhile, Kawaki was confused about how Boruto was in control. Even Code contacted Eida and asked him what was the deal with his enemy from the Hidden Leaf Village.

Eida informed him she wasn't sure if it was due to Amado's medicines. She added she can't tell what was happening inside his body. She stated Boruto was able to channel Momoshiki's power without letting it take control of his mind.

Inside Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto, Shikamaru and the others were desperately trying to locate Boruto or Kawaki's chakra.

Shikamaru feared it was likely Code killed Kawaki. Naruto was upset with Shikamaru's attitude but the latter told him they will go together and bring back Naruto's son and Kawaki.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 65 is scheduled for release on Dec. 20. The digital version of the chapter will be out on Manga Plus and Viz.
