‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 159 Preview Trailer, Spoilers: ‘The Hashirama Cell’

Boruto and his team find the researcher, but there is something wrong with him. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 159 to showcase Team 7’s mission to rescue the missing researcher.

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 159 named "The Hashirama Cell" teases Boruto and company finally find the missing medical researcher – Anato.

He appears hostile and as Mugino tries to talk to him, he attacks him with all his might.

Mugino explains Anato has lost his sense of self and will not understand anything they say to him. He tells Boruto and others that they will attack his movements. Boruto fears they might hurt him and remembers the promise he made to Mia. He vows to bring him back to her.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 158, Team 7 starts its next mission. Boruto meets Sasuke and wants to crack down on the mysterious Kara organization. However, Sasuke tells him blindly seeking an enemy without knowing their intent is an invitation to death. He wants Boruto to focus on his training sessions and the upcoming mission.

Later, Team 7 gets a search mission and Mugino, who is an expert in assisting smaller countries to deal with war-related conflicts, joins the team. The mission takes the heroes to the Land of Valleys to find Anato.

The researcher’s wife, Mia, reveals a medical equipment company was established in the valley and it attracted several technicians to work on various projects.

Anato was one of the researchers hired by the company. But Mia is unable to reveal the details of his research at the facility. Mitsuki asks if he disappeared during one of the sourcing trips for his research.

Mia tells them Anato was supposed to return in one month, but he didn’t and it has been three weeks past the initial date. Even the company is not ready to reveal the details as they need to protect trade secrets.

Later, in the episode, Team 7 meets the founder of the company – Mr Victor. Interestingly, he resembles one of the Kara members shown in episode 157.
