After the incident at the castle, all the troublemakers from town are coming for Boruto and company. In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 162 Team 7 and Mugino have to find a way to escape. The episode is titled "Escaping the Tightening Net."

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 162 teases Boruto, Sarada, Konohamaru, and Mugino trying to fight the bad guys from the Land of Silence.

Boruto reveals in the trailer that it appears they are framed for the ghastly murder of Sakuya and her butler in the castle. Now, everyone in the town is preparing to capture Boruto and his comrades and punish them for murder and infiltration.

Episode 162 will likely focus entirely on Boruto and his comrade’s mission to escape the town and find the missing Hashirama Cell. Moreover, to prove they are innocent, Boruto needs to find the real culprits behind the murders.

In the previous episode, Konohamaru, who has transformed himself as Kirisaki, injects Mitsuki’s antibodies into the butler to revive him. The butler is impressed and decides to take Boruto and Konohamaru to Sakuya’s castle.

On the way to the castle, the butler explains Sakuya acquired the Hashirama Cell after finding out that youth can be restored by using the cell. However, Mugino tells Sarada Hashirama Cell is extremely dangerous and cannot reverse aging.

During the episode, Konohamaru finds out more about the real intentions of Victor and how his sinister plan regarding the Hashirma Cell is unfolding. The episode also shows a scene between Victor and the new villain named Deepa. It remains to be seen if fans will get to see Deepa in the upcoming episode.
