'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 178 Preview, Spoilers: Hello Ao

With borders opening for foreigners, there are times when certain bad elements try to infiltrate the Leaf Village.

To counter this, the barrier team has developed a new system with the cooperation of the Scientific Ninja Tools team. The new system is based on the Jutsu formula that was used during the Great War. With the help of science, the updated system is automated and every inch of the village is enveloped in a barrier.

However, they still need expert shinobi who can sense and assist the system. The episode showcases Inojin’s struggle to learn the technique of sensing chakra. He initially fails to detect the unregistered chakra, but toward the end of the episode, he manages to develop a new technique of using the system.
